Intelligent Transportation System is the latest transportation system which combines electronic, information, communication and control in the transportation system and the goal is to establish quick, safe and comfortable transportation system.
The goal is to establish efficient ITS that provides Ulaanbaatar citizens with reliable traffic information, to prioritize improvement in traffic safety and to enable efficient road utilization.
Monitors traffic status on real time basis, collects real time traffic information and provides with information using the internet and VMS.
- Traffic information
- Provides with real time traffic information and repeated congestion information.
- Closed-Circuit TV (CCTV)
- Provides with real time CCTV information of the main spot.
- Illuminated road board information (VMS)
- Displays real time traffic information text on illuminated board installed at road (VMS).
- Shortest path
- User shows path between start point and destination from digital map.
- Statistic information
- Provides with statistic of traffic information, accident information and frequently congested section.
